This BRAND IDENTITY KIT FOR G STATION is a WIP (Work in Progress) it has recently been accepted by my newest client. My client doesn’t mind me sharing because it gives exposure so, here it is!

This design was fun because I was able to incorporate a retro style. The American Diner, G Station, is interesting in its own right. It is physically located inside a Portland GreyHound Station and surrounded by downtown culture.

The diner has swaths of yellows and oranges and is used as inspiration in the color palette. The logo font is retro chic and unifies the entire design. After creating a main logo I decided to add a few variations that can be used in any medium.

Now that the Brand Identity kit has been approved I have begun creating the website. The importance of creating the brand identity kit first is to begin incorporating the brand consistently throughout the website. As a designer brand kits provide an excellent guideline and the results are typically viewed favorably by clients when the project is complete. It saves a lot of time and hassle because I am not doing multiple revisions.

I’ll add the website to show the finished project. Wish me luck!
